Probiotic Juice Cleansing with La Vie

Did you know that 80% of your immune system takes place in your gut? That’s one of the reasons digestive health is so important to your health and well being.

La Vie’s Juice Cleanses Are Unique!

It's not just a cleanse--it's a probiotic juice cleanse. Consuming probiotic drinks along with fresh, raw juices aids your digestive system by cleaning and strengthening it, while at the same time giving it a break from solid foods. Our drinks are locally crafted in Santa Cruz with high quality ingredients sourced as close to our kitchen as possible. We are proud to say that all of our products are gluten, dairy and soy-free.

By consuming only raw fresh juices and fermented probiotic drinks during your cleanse, you are staying away from the foods that commonly produce food sensitivities, allergic reactions and can lead to digestive difficulties. It is the combination of reduced caloric intake, elimination of processed foods, and the addition of fresh, organic, nutritious juices and beneficial probiotics that delivers the transformational cleanse experience La Vie is known for.

Refrigerate. Do not freeze. Start your cleanse within a day of receiving. Before beginning consult with a doctor if you have a compromised immune system, are pregnant, or are allergic to fermented food or drink.

3–7 Days Before You Cleanse

  • Introduce probiotics into your digestive system by having some of our probiotic drinks every day. Our Pre-Cleanse Wellness Box is a great way to start.
  • Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables to prep your digestive system for the cleanse.
  • Drink plenty of water; a suggested amount is half your body weight in ounces. For example, if you weigh 180 pounds, drink 90 ounces of water daily.
  • Wean yourself from the following substances to make your cleanse experience more pleasant: coffee, alcohol, addictive substances, white or refined sugar and flour, meat and fried foods.

During Your Cleanse

Cleansing with La Vie is as easy as 1..2..3. Starting in the morning, simply drink 1 bottle every 2 hours beginning with the bottle marked number one. Sip the drink slowly or relish it all at once. Drink plenty of water. You may enjoy some miso soup or clear veggie broth (no garlic or onions) anytime throughout the day.

Eating During Your Cleanse

Your caloric intake during the cleanse may be less than the recommended daily allowance and less than you are accustomed to. It is fine to have some snacks such as organic fruit, raw soaked nuts (8–10 nuts per day), and salads with a simple dressing of cold pressed olive oil and lemon during your cleanse. Chew each bite 50 times before swallowing. Do not eat and drink together.

Exercising During Your Cleanse

Exercise such as yoga or walking will make it easier for your body to eliminate toxins. If you already have a vigorous exercise program, be sure to pace yourself and increase electrolytes with drinks such as our Live Coconut Water.

After Your Cleanse

For optimal health benefits, continue to incorporate probiotic drinks into your diet on a daily basis. Beginning the day after your cleanse, gradually incorporate solid foods back into your diet. Choose foods that are easy to digest, preferably with a high water content. Eat small portions to prevent overloading your metabolism and digestive tract. Stick to eating as much raw or lightly cooked food as possible to maximize delivery of vital raw juices and fiber to your system. Thoroughly chew each mouthful 50 times before swallowing to help stimulate the digestive process. Keep flushing your system with herbal teas, broths and other liquids that are nutrient rich. Well chewed salads, vegetable soups and fruits best support a healthy digestive system. We suggest you cleanse at least every few months for maximum health benefits.
