Farmers Market Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and passionate marketeers to work at our booths at farmers markets throughout the Bay Area and Santa Cruz over the weekends. Enjoy the fun atmosphere of farmers markets while interacting with awesome people and spreading your knowledge about probiotic and superfood health! No need to have a vehicle to lug the supplies.
The ideal employee has an interest in a healthy lifestyle as well as a background in sales. They understand the impact that nourishing food has on helping people live better lives - physically, mentally, and spiritually. They excel at engaging with customers and connect customers with products that will help them on their wellness journey. They have great customer service skills, are detail oriented, communicate clearly, can take direction and effectively complete tasks. It's important that they can balance these skills and customer engagement while aiming for high sales, as our product and business can only continue to thrive with this balance.
Pay is $25 per hour + ability to make commission based on sales! We also offer a generous discount and free products each shift!

Duties and Responsibilities:
Farmers market vending: This is a solo job in a fast-paced environment. You'll do complete setup, selling, cashiering, cleanup. We will train you in what you need to know, we just ask that you come with an open mind, a positive attitude, and a desire to connect with people!
Education and Experience:
- Some level of prior exposure to probiotics, healthy lifestyle and fermentation are recommended, along with background in Sales is big plus
- Prior farmers market vending is desirable, but not necessary. Attitude and the ability to connect with customers and their needs are most important.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, drag 100 pound ice chests, carry and set up a 10x10 commercial-duty canopy (we will teach you)
- Basic math skills for retail, cash handling, use of iPad for Shopify sales, sales and cashiering experience
- Attention to detail, capacity and curiosity to learn
- Valid CA driver's license or other identification card
